Johnson Ranch Backflow Testing
This Offer Has Ended

UPDATE (May 31, 2024 | 8:50pm) - We have sent out all of the test reports for those who have been tested. If you have not received your report, check your spam folder and then email us at backflow@seegerwater.com and we will send it to you.

UPDATE (May 17, 2024 | 9:45am)
- We are sending test reports to all of you by email today. If you have not received a copy of your report and would like a copy, send us an email at backflow@seegerwater.com.

Effective May 01, 2024 | 9:38pm - We are no longer accepting signups for the Johnson Ranch Backflow testing group. We have reached our capacity for what our team can reasonably handle. Additionally, we have encountered some of the worst attitudes and behaviors out of any neighborhood we’ve served in the past 38 years.

FOR RESIDENTS WHO HAVE SIGNED UP AND PAID (Those who did not pay when they signed up WILL NOT be tested)

If you signed up and paid, your backflow either has already been tested or will be tested by May 15, 2024. A pink flag will be placed at your water meter to signify that we have tested the assembly. There are a few of you that we tested and either ran out of pink flags or the flags were picked up by another company - not to worry, we will place a flag at your meter.

Important Updates

  1. If you signed up and paid for a backflow test, please be patient with us - there are over 500 of you and all of the test reports have to be prepared individually and on paper. This is extraordinarily time consuming. But if you signed up and paid WE WILL TEST YOUR BACKFLOW and WE WILL SEND YOU A COPY OF THE TEST REPORT.

  2. The GBRA deadline to signup is June 30th, so please be patient with us while we get all of the reports prepared and filed. There is no urgency at this time.

  3. Please note that we have sent over 80 backflow test reports to GBRA and received ZERO confirmation that they have received and recorded them. We don’t know if they are even tracking any of this, to be honest.

This entire situation was avoidable and you all were failed by GBRA and Johnson Ranch developers. These backflow testing requirements have been STATE LAW since 2009. All of the surrounding utilities (New Braunfels Utilities, San Antonio Water System, Canyon Lake Water/Texas Water, City of Fair Oaks Ranch) all have robust backflow testing programs with electronic filings. Your developers cut corners, GBRA failed to comply with the law, and now they are scrambling to get in compliance. We are begging all of you to please have patience with our team. We are working nights and weekends to get this completed.

If you have any questions or would like an update on the status of your backflow test, please send us an email at backflow@seegerwater.com. We will be happy to assist you.
