It was the 80s - Don worked for a sprinkler supply store and Andree owned a swimming pool business with her brother. Sprinklers worked their magic and Don and Andree fell in love. In 1986, they packed up their stuff and moved to San Antonio. Together, they opened Total Irrigation in 1987. TI was a small residential sprinkler repair outfit with a dozen or so customers - the business was a small side job while the couple worked in real estate.

In 1995, Don Jr (or “DJ” as we know him) came along. As DJ grew up, he would help his dad with sprinkler repairs on the weekends to earn allowance money. In 2007, during DJ’s 7th grade year, Don changed the name of the company to “Seeger & Son’s Sprinkler Company.” By 2008, the company had a few hundred residential irrigation customers and a half dozen commercial customers.

After high school, DJ took up special interest in the future of the company and took a special focus on administration and sales, but still taking service calls and supervising installs. In 2017, DJ became President of Seeger & Son’s Sprinkler Company and charted a new path…

With the whole industry shifting it’s focus to water conservation, DJ changed the name of the company to Seeger Water to reflect the company’s primary focus. From 2017 to 2020, Seeger Water expanded its’ operations to include backflow testing and repairs and water pumps. During the pandemic, DJ recruited water operators and plumbers to Seeger Water’s ranks. His vision? Seeger Water would become the superior water management and development company in the State of Texas.
